Two Years of Marriage

Today is my Anniversary! Two years I have been married to the love of my life, and soul-mate. It’s hard to believe it’s only been two years, as it seems we have been together forever! Instead of telling you our story, I will give you a bunch of links to different posts written over the past two years telling our story. I hope you enjoy!

How he proposed: The Proposal.

Last year’s gifts: Anniversary presents

Last year, we decided it would be fun to follow the traditional anniversary gift list (see here). Last year’s was paper and you can see our gifts here: Anniversary Gifts and this year is cotton. I was trying to think of creative ways to beat last year’s gift because I thought last year’s was a really cool idea. This year it probably wasn’t as good, but I still like it and I hope my hubby will too!

I bought cotton pillow cases that say, “Always Kiss Me Goodnight” with our names engraved on them. The picture below was the website’s example.

I thought we could put them on the extra pillows we usually use with the sham pillow cases and it would decorate our bed.

I know my husband reads this blog, so I wanted to dedicate this song to him. It’s very sweet and talks about not changing who you are. Honey, I love you so much, this one’s for you!

I like the way that you look at me
Your smile turns me into a fool
At work, I’ll look at your picture honey
One glance elevating the mood
So don’t you change for me
I like the way that you compliment me
We’re so easily amused
When I’m a clown, you’ll always laugh at me
No matter how bad a joke I use
Everyday you want to live for me
Everyday you want to give to me
We’ve got an understanding what will be
So don’t you change for me
What we’ve got is complex
It’s so real and honest
You’re perfect
You’re flawless
So don’t you change (2x)
I like the way that you look at me
I like the way that you compliment me
I like you just the way you are
