The Most Important Post You’ll Ever Read

Note: I may earn money or products from the companies, products, or links mentioned in this post.

I talk about my faith a lot of my blog, I have even shared my testimony. But sadly, I have never shared the Gospel with any of you before, I felt it was time to remedy that. God has put this post on my heart for a little while now and if you just give me a few minutes to share what’s on my heart I know that you will see that this life changing stuff and also the most important blog post you will ever read!

A lot of people tell me on my blog that they admire my faith or that they feel I am so “spiritual”, but really I’m no different than anyone else. I am just a sinner saved by God’s grace and trying to live a life that pleases God and is according to the Bible. I am not perfect, no one is, but I am so thankful to believe in a loving Saviour and to know that one day when I die I will be going to Heaven.

Do you know if you are going to Heaven?

If the answer to that question is “Yes” then that means at some point in your life you asked Jesus to come into your heart, you believe that Christ died for your sins and rose again, and you confessed your sins to Him and repented. If the answer to that question is “No,” “I’m not sure,” or “Well, I’m a good person” then the rest of this post is for you!

The Bible says,

  • “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
  • “…There is none righteous, no, not one.” – Romans 3:10

This means that none of us are “good” enough to get into Heaven. You can not earn your way into Heaven and you cannot get there by going to church or just by doing good things. Because we are born sinners we are all on your way to a place called Hell. But the Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

So what do I have to do to be saved?

God sent His only Son to this earth in the form of a man. He lived on this earth and then He died a terrible death on a cross and took our burden of sins onto Himself so that we could be saved. All we have to do is believe, and we can have the gift that He gives us: eternal life with Him in Heaven.

A – Admit that you are a sinner.

B – Believe  on the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe that He died for you and came to save you from your sins. Believe that He rose again on the third day and believe that the only way to Heaven is through Him not good works.

C – Confess your sins to Him. Repent of the things you have done wrong and tell Jesus you are sorry and that you are willing to change.

The Bible says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9. All you have to do is pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart. Tell him that you admit you are a sinner, that you believe on Him and that you confess your sins and repent from them.

When you do this, He will come into your heart in live within you. You will have a wonderful peace in your life. So many have expressed that they wished they had this same peace or same faith I did on my blog. YOU CAN! You just have to accept it.
