I don’t know about you… but this is pretty much what my day looks like every day!

Get up.

Miss her husband.

Take a shower.

Think about her husband.

Eat Breakfast.

Wonder what her husband ate for his breakfast.

Play with the kids.

Take pictures for her husband.

Do some housework.

Think about her husband.

Eat lunch.

Wonder what her husband is doing.

Run some errands.

Think about her husband some more.

Have some quiet time while the kids nap.

Email her husband.

Prepare dinner.

Wonder what her husband will have for dinner.

Give kids baths.

Wish her husband was here.

Put kids to bed.

Miss her husband.

Get some more stuff done.

Skype with her husband.

Go to bed.

Really miss her husband.

  1. No one except military wives really understand what it is like to have a husband deployed…You are right, missing him at every minute is the life of the military wife.

    1. Yes, I agree. I even didn’t understand until he actually deployed. It’s amazing how you think you get it, but then you go through it and you are like wow… I never understood until now. Thanks for commenting!

  2. I think I originally found your blog through a blog hop and came back to visit and read . . . May God give you grace for all the “missing” you have to do each day!

  3. Hello! I just recently stumbled upon your blog, and I love it! My husband is currently deployed as well and I can relate to many of your posts. This one sounds just like my life. We are about half way through with our deployment, but it still feels like forever. We have two children, a 2 year old and 2 month old. Keeps me busy, but like this post states after every daily task, I am thinking about my husband.

    1. So glad you found it! 🙂 Yes, I know what you mean. People keep saying, “Well you only have _X_ months left now.” And I am thinking ONLY?? It seems like forever!! Thanks for commenting, and prayers for you to get through the rest of this deployment, you can do it! 🙂
