GoPicnic is a website that provides ready-to-go meals for people on the go! I had never heard of it, but after getting a chance to review a few of their items, I am very impressed! Their is mission is to:
“…provide you with healthy meal options on-the-go that contain no trans fats, no high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and no added monosodium glutamate (MSG). We strive to cater to your special diet, whether its all natural, gluten-free, kosher, vegan, or vegetarian, to ensure you will have a great tasting meal at any time.”
Review:
We got our care package on the 30th of January and I was excited to look at the contents. I was surprised at how high quality the foods were and how much was in there. I would compare the quality and taste to that of the Hickory Farms‘ food. The package contents were a little different than what is described online, but I didn’t complain because what we got was AMAZING!
In our package was…
- 1 bag of all natural cinnamon sugar kettlecorn.
- Gourmet pepper jack cheese wedges.
- 1 turkey stick and crunch ready-to-eat box meal.
- A package of butter-crunch toffee with almonds and dark chocolate.
- Mia Dolci chocolate vanilla swirl cookies.
- 1 bag of chocolate filled peppermint drops.
- 1 Hickory Farms summer sausage.
- 1 box of crackers. (I accidentally threw out the box and don’t remember what kind they were).
The cheese and crackers were absolutely incredible. The cheese was a little spicy, but not too much that it was too hot to eat. The crackers were these thin wafer crackers, very yummy. Again, I was very impressed with the quality of the food and how healthy it was. This is something I would definitely consider sending my husband during his next deployment and something I know him and other military members would love to get!
Also, please keep in mind that it is important to review all of the GoPicnic content packaging and labels as there are several meals which are NOT gluten free. I know that may be important info for those that may have gluten allergies!

Any of the Classic Deli Meals sound delicious! I can’t pick just one!!!
Very neat idea! If I were to try anything, it would definitely be the “entertaining box.” I’m always looking for something new and different (and healthy!) to serve at casual gatherings. The kettle corn would be a perfect snack for game night!
