Dear Deployment: Sincerely, Aracely
Note: I may earn money or products from the companies, products, or links mentioned in this post.
You have made me a stronger woman; you have made me a stronger believer. Â My relationship with God has grown over the past two deployments I have had to endure. Â Of course, you were not an easy road to endure. Emotions ran high this past deployment and I had to learn how to lean on God more than ever.
There is no ârightâ way to handle it since it is always playing by ear.  Things break and things wait to break until after deployment is over. âŚwhich was very unfortunate. However, I had to learn how to fix things or rely on friends who could fix them for me.  I learned to value beautiful friendships along with wonderful family.  I learned to love being only a few hours away from home.
I did not enjoy the change of schedule for departure, but dealt with it as best as I could. Iâm thankful I went through those long months alone; I was prepared for a long deployment that never came when we got here! Â Now I will probably be spoiled with TDYs instead. Even after you are long gone, I am still picking up the pieces of my heart. Â I may not have my heart healed all the way, but Iâm trusting God to see me through.
Sincerely,
Aracely
