Hannah from 2 My Hero recently contacted me about her greeting cards for the military. I have to say it’s a great idea that she came up with! She is going to be advertising on my blog and I wanted to take the time to share with you a little about her business.
She originally came up with the idea to make greeting cards when her nephew was deployed and she could not find any good ones that were military related to send to him. Here is what she says:
“When my nephew was deployed, I was disappointed in the selection of greeting cards that were available to send him. So, I decided to design my own line of cards to send to my hero. We are slowly but surely building this line, and I am so eager to share them with you. There are cards for encouragement, birthdays, deployment, welcome home, remembrance and sympathy, and my newest spouse card. Make sure to visit 2myhero.com for more information, check out the selection and read our blog! Purchasing cards is super easy with online ordering right from the site. 2 My Hero also has twitter and facebook pages, where we tell you about new cards we are designing and engage with the military community. We love to hear from our supporters!”
The awesome thing about this business it that not only are these cards sold online, but they are also sold in stores all over Washington, Oregon, and Arizona! You can see a list of stores these cards are provided in here: Retail Locations. Another cool thing is that Hannah picks a military charity to donate some profits to every year. She says, “This year, I’ve chosen to direct 5% of my profits to the Injured Marine Sempi Fi Fund. Each year, I will direct a portion of my proceeds to different non-profits assisting service people.” Go Hannah for being so kind with your giving!
Now I’m sure you are wondering what some of these cards look like. Here are a few examples, be sure to check out the website for more! (Click on each picture to see larger version.)
