I am very excited to share with you today about one my awesome sponsors! If you like jewelry then you are going to love Homefront Metalworks‘ unique designs. Wendy – the owner of Homefront Metalworks is military wife and mother of two. When her husband became active duty military she decided she needed a job that could travel with her, and so Homefront Metalworks was created!
Her jewelry includes beautifully personalized and hand-stamped pieces including necklaces, bracelets, rings and jewelry for men. She also has military inspired pieces, awareness ribbon designs and a line she designed herself called Hidden Word Designs. Each piece is unique, and you can tell she puts a lot of love into every design and piece.
Have a look at some of her pieces yourself. These would make great Christmas gifts, birthday gifts or other gift ideas. There are plenty of pieces for military families to wear during deployment or to show support and also awareness ribbons that you could give to a friend going through cancer or a hard time.
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about how Wendy’s jewelry has touched other people’s lives. She shares stories of military wives who wear her pieces while going through another deployment and about people who have bought an awareness ribbon necklace for a friend or family member going through cancer. Wendy’s jewelry touches lives and that is what I love about it and I think you will too!

As a mother of two little ones and a military spouse I realize how precious moments are, how memories sometimes get us through our tough spots, how close we hold our relationships even if we live half way around the world from those we love, how vital friendships are to our growth and happiness, and how important messages that inspire us can be when our spirits are low. Homefront Metalworks designs are created with these realizations in mind. Jewelry, to me, is the most personal form of art one can possess. It’s worn close, can be held or touched, and stays with you as you walk through your daily lives.
I started making jewelry to help “make special” important times and people in my life in 1996 while studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Since then, I’ve worked for a jewelry production and manufacturing company, held various positions in the education field, and have continued to work throughout on my jewelry which has led me to launching this venture.
So whether you’re looking to send a friend a message, symbolize a loving relationship or family, or find a piece to hold a memory of a lifetime, Homefront Metalworks hopes to be a part of your journey. Thank you for visiting my page and by extension inviting me into your lives to help you find a piece to commemorate that certain something you want to “make special”.
