Memorial Day

Strong words for a young man who was willing to give of everything he had for this country. Today, we remember people like him, who have fought and died for this country’s freedoms. Whether they fought years ago, or are still fighting today, let us remember those past and present, and keep them and their families in our prayers.
As a military wife, not only is this day one of great importance to me, but one of great remembrance, because not only does my husband serve in the U.S. military, but so do many of our friends and family. As we go about our day, let us remember the tremendous sacrifice that those past and present have made. Let us not forget the loved ones that are still overseas, and let us keep them in our constant prayers.
“As military families we observe Memorial Day 365-days a year. However, this special weekend set aside for National observation is a time for us to prayerfully and thoughtfully remember those who have lost their lives defending this great Nation. Pray for our Gold Star Families. We have an opportunity to remember and honor the fallen by loving those they left behind.“-CMW
