Baby Update

It’s hard to believe that as of yesterday I am already at 19 weeks! At times it seems to go by so fast, and other times, it seems to go by slow… Next week on January 28th, we will get to find out the gender of the baby, and I am so very excited! I would love to have a girl, but my husband on the other hand wants a boy. Of course we will be happy either way, but I am sure we are not the only parents-to-be who have a preference for their first child! The picture was taken last week. I am trying not to take one every week, so I can actually see the changes.
18 weeks 1 day
Ever since I had my miscarriage I have been scared through this pregnancy that something would happen. I know that just because I had one miscarriage doesn’t mean it will happen again, and I am not constantly thinking about it, but time to time and when I go into my appointments, I am afraid they will find not be able to find the baby’s heartbeat.
Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I have been praying for my baby. I pray that God will protect my baby and that everything goes smoothly. I really believe prayer works, and even if something does happen, God is in control. There is nothing I can do to change it.
Happy 18 weeks! Finding out the gender is so much fun. Do you guys have names yet?
thank god for miracles….
Oh girl, I know your fears about not hearing the heartbeat. It's why we rented a fetal heartbeat monitor (the medical-grade kind) for my entire pregnancy. After one miscarriage, I couldn't hear my baby's heartbeat enough. I'm guessing girl for you!!! (One of my best friend's just found out she's having a second boy today, so I figure it's the law of averages, you know?)
About my grocery shopping… I go directly to the store's website to look at their weekly circular. I tried going to one of those places like "couponmom.com" or "Thegrocerygame.com", but I found they weren't as user friendly, and didn't always have the correct details on discounts at hte store in my exact neighborhood!
Hope this helps!

Confessions From A Working Mom
I know what you mean about wanting to see the progress. It's hard for me to even see much progress when I look at photos from weeks past. It just feels as though I've been at a stand-still in my belly growth for the past few months. However, I have no doubt I'll see progress as I draw nearer to my due date.
Congratulations! Can't wait to hear if you are having a boy or a girl! I prayed for Maddy EVERY day when I was pregnant. I think those fears of something happening are normal. I didn't have a miscarriage but I was still terrified of something going wrong even though I knew God was in control. I think all women must do that! Congratulations again!! You have a very *cute* belly!!!
This is such a wonderful time. What a beautiful baby belly…
I know it's so easy to worry, if it helps remember that worry is not of or from GOD! He knows your baby already and has a special purpose for this miracle growing in you!! You're about 2 weeks behind me! We're not finding out what we're having this time and it's so huge to me! I have toy next apt tomorrow, but at each apt in Germany you get an ultrasound, it's a nice perk for sure!! Praying you feel complete and utter peace from here on out with your pregnancy!!
Thanx so much for sharing this beautiful time with us! I love reading up on your pregnancy! I felrt the same way at first..it didn't feel real until I felt her. Now I am amazed every morning. I think I know what you might be having by the way you're carrying but I'm not telling…we'll find out ont he 28th!!!!
I think your having a girl thats my guess. You should take a front belly pic too
I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've visited! I hardly get on blogger to read other people's blogs with how busy I am. Xanga is still my first priority when it comes to blogging. đ
I can't believe how far along you are already! You look so cute! I'll be anxious to hear what you are having!
