PastaEver find the perfect recipe – one that tastes restaurant-made and makes you feel like a professional chef? If not, then you NEED to make this one! It was a very simple pasta recipe, but the taste was just perfection. My husband suggested it would also taste good with some marinated steak or chicken, so I may try that next time too!

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Âź tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 3 cups chicken broth (I used chicken bullion cubes and 3 cups of water)
  • ½ lb spaghetti or angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ž cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or dried parsley)

Instructions

  1. In a pan, warm the olive oil on medium heat and then add garlic. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Stir in the butter and when melted add salt, pepper and chicken broth.
  3. Turn up the heat to high and bring to a boil.
  4. Once it’s boiling, add the pasta and cook according to the package directions (make sure you continue to boil on high heat so that the water evaporates and the pasta soaks in the flavor).
  5. When it’s done, reduce the heat and add the parmesan cheese. Mix until melted.
  6. Stir in cream and parsley until mixed and turn off heat.
