It’s my 24th Birthday!

So today I turned 24 at 2:29 p.m. Yes, my mom told me what time I was born and for some reason I have always remembered it. Didn’t have many plans for today, as it is Monday. Last week Jon’s mom and sister were here to celebrate a late Christmas since we did not get to see them for Christmas and while they were here we celebrated my birthday. We went out to eat for dinner with them and some friends from church. It was really nice and we had a good time.

I was hoping today would be more of a relaxing and fun day, but I woke up this morning to Adam not being very happy and he was burning up. He had a high fever so I spent the day cuddling with him and wishing and hoping he would feel better. We took him to the Dr. and I think he is going to be ok. But it’s been a long day and I am not feeling well either.

No cake today since I made it last week when family was here, but I do plan on making my favorite meal tomorrow since today it is too late. You may be surprised (people usually are) but my absolute favorite food is Corned Beef. It’s a brisket boiled for several hours and served with carrots, potatoes, and cabbage. Mmmm. I will have to post the recipe some time.

Well, since I have nothing else do write about my day I thought I would post some pictures of me as a baby. I don’t have any of the day I was born since my mom keeps all those at home, but I do have a few of me as a baby. Enjoy!

And corned beef is one of my favorites and husband will devour it whenever I make it, hope you share the recipe sometime. I'm always open to trying new ones 🙂

  2. Happy birthday again, date twin! I wrote a birthday post, too, but now I wish I did one of baby photos – you were so cute! Actually, I can see little Adam in you 🙂

I hope you enjoyed your birthday meal tonight; I'm sorry he was sick yesterday.
