Peanut Butter Cookies

I first heard about this recipe from my mother-in-law. I never tried them or knew what the ingredients were, but I was skeptic that cookies with only THREE ingredients would be that great. Then, when I actually saw the recipe for them on Pinterest, I was amazed. There really were cookies out there, that were super easy! But would they be yummy too?

I found this recipe on Pinterest from Ali at Jam Hands. The first time I made them was on a Sunday afternoon. I needed something quick and easy to make for a going-away party for a couple at my church. I was a little nervous at how they would turn out, but they were absolutely delicious!!

I have made these peanut butter cookies at least two or three times more after that, and am completely obsessed! They are quick, they are easy, not much to clean up, and they don’t take long to bake either. This seriously has to be the BEST recipe ever!

Ok so now that you are wondering what the recipe is… here ya go!

  • 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Stir all ingredients together.
  2. Form into balls and place on baking sheet.
  3. Dip a fork in sugar and use it to make the criss-cross marks.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. (I baked them for 9 minutes and they were perfect! Although remember every oven is different, so check often the first time you make it.)

  1. Also a great variation instead of measuring the 1 cup sugar we do ours this way.
    1 jar (16-18oz) peanut butter
1 1/2 cups sugar (brown or white or mixed)
    2 eggs

Its soo much easier the having to measure 1 cup peanut butter and they stay fresh in the fridge for 2 weeks! 🙂
    love this recipe!

  2. This is great! I just made a standard peanut butter cookie recipe a couple of days ago but this looks a million times easier. The kids and I are going to have to try this one. My only problem is that I overcook peanut butter cookies every time. I'll have to make sure to watch these closely. Thanks for the recipe!

  3. Oh yes, it's an insanely simple recipe. A friend of mine showed me this recipe last year and I cannot believe how easy it is! I have made my own additions to it though. I usually add just a little vanilla and – of course – chocolate 😀
