July

Note: I may earn money or products from the companies, products, or links mentioned in this post.

It’s hard to believe this month has almost come and go, time seems to fly by so fast, and this month was no exception! I didn’t have a lot of time to write a separate post for all the things that have happened this month, so here is a little bit about each!

Fourth of July

First of all, I wanted to say I hope everyone had a happy Fourth of July! I would have written a nice patriotic post, had I been blogging at the time.

"My country,' tis of thee,
sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing;
land where my fathers died,
land of the pilgrims' pride,
from every mountainside let freedom ring!"

My Blogiversary
One year ago on July 6th, I started this blog! Before this I had a blog on xanga, but I didn’t really get serious about blogging until I started this one. It’s hard to believe I have been writing here for over a year now! So since it’s been one year I thought I would share some of my older posts with you!
My very first post: To Twitter or Not to Twitter

Miscarriage
It will be a year this month that I had a miscarriage and lost my baby. Although I am so blessed that God blessed us with Adam right after that, I still think about my little baby and know that he or she is in Heaven. I plan on telling Adam that he has a little brother and sister and Heaven. I will always remember. I know that I am not alone, and there are many women who have miscarriages, and that you too will always remember.

Two Years in the Military
July 15, Marked two years that Jon has been in the Air Force. It is so hard to believe! It’s been a good two years. Living the military life is not always easy, but God has definitely been good. I have not had to endure a deployment yet, (although I know I will eventually) and living on base has made things so much easier!

I never imagines two years ago when he left for basic, that I would like being a military wife. I was so scared of the unknowns of military life. So two years down and eighteen left to go, if he goes through with his plans to do twenty years. I can’t wait to see where God will take us and what plans He has along the way!

Adam’s One Month Birthday
This month also marks, Adam’s one month birthday! I can’t believe how fast time flies! At times I wish my baby could stay a baby forever, and other times I am so excited to see him grow! He is a great baby, and we love him so much. Here are some pictures of him from this past month.

Picture taken my our neighbor with his awesome camera! Adam was only a few days old!

Adam on the Fourth of July in his very special patriotic outfit!

First time in the stroller, going for a walk with Mommy!

Wide Awake!

I won’t overload this post with more pics, even though I want to show him off, but if you want to see more, feel free to click here.

  3. Quite a lot happened in July for you. It's all so crazy and exciting. I know what you mean about Adam getting so big. I can't believe Isaac will be 2 months old on Sunday!

Oddly enough I celebrated my blogiversary in July as well (I think it was the 17th). Something I never even thought about, but my blog is two years old now! Crazy.

  4. What a month!
I can relate to the miscarriages. They are so very heartbreaking. I had 2, one before each of my children's pregnancies. But if the Lord hadn't taken those babies to heaven when He did, I wouldn't have either my dear Natalie or Zachary!
And I know what you mean about the babies growing! I miss so much the early days, especially Zachary's becuase he is my baby for now, but I am also so excited to watch him grow and discover new things! Although the older he gets the more I feel that tug for another baby, but not quite yet I think!
As for the military, the years actually go by very quickly, at least they have for me! My husband has been in 10 yr in Nov, which I can't wrap my mind around! Though he already had a few in before we married, we have been blessed with few deployments, but that time is changing, but I believe the Lord has just given us what He knew I 'needed' to grow on my own a little. I have learned more about myself and the Lord through each seperation, and I have come to peace about them.
